Bolla — globes of bubbled glass, threaded along a single bronze band. A slim, flat strip of metal in an antique bronze finish runs up the wall and turns outward at its foot, like a ribbon bent by hand. Along it hang one, two or three clear glass globes, each filled with tiny suspended air bubbles, like sparkling water frozen mid-pour.
Lit, every bubble in the glass catches the light and scatters it into a soft sparkle, so each globe glows like a small lantern of champagne. Off, the clear glass and warm bronze read as a clean, sculptural line on the wall. It is quiet, modern and a little bit magical — and it changes character with the number of globes you choose.
Why it works
-
Bubbled glass. Air bubbles are trapped in the glass as it is formed, so every globe has its own pattern of sparkle. No two are exactly alike.
-
A sculptural bronze line. The flat band with its bent foot gives the sconce a gesture of its own — more like a small piece of wall sculpture than a standard fixture.
-
One, two or three globes. The single is compact and perfect bedside; the double and triple grow into tall, vertical statements for living rooms and stairs.
-
Warm, sparkling light. Each globe holds a G9 LED in warm white, softened and scattered by the bubbles — atmospheric and flattering, never harsh.
-
Bulbs included. Ready to install and switch on.
Which version is right?
| 1 light — H 10.2" |
Bedside reading, beside a bathroom or powder-room mirror (dry location), small hallways and rooms up to about 110 sq ft |
| 2 lights — H 23.2" |
Flanking a bed, sofa or console; studies and living rooms of about 110–160 sq ft |
| 3 lights — H 32.3" |
A tall statement either side of a fireplace or doorway, on a stair wall, or as a single focal point on a long wall |
Mixing works well too: try the triple in a living room and the single beside the bed for a consistent look through the home.

A note on bubbled glass: the bubbles form naturally as the glass is made, so their size, number and pattern vary from globe to globe and from the photographs. They are a feature of the glass, not a flaw.
Frequently asked questions
Are the bubbles in the glass intentional?
Yes. The bubbles are deliberately trapped in the glass during forming. They catch and scatter the light, which is what gives Bolla its soft sparkle.
Which one should I use beside a bed?
The single-globe version is the classic bedside choice, mounted about 50–60 inches from the floor. If you have a tall headboard or high ceiling, the two-light version makes a more dramatic pair.
How high should I mount the taller versions?
Place the center of the fixture about 60–66 inches from the floor. For the three-light version, that puts the top globe at roughly 75–80 inches.
What bulbs does it take?
One G9 LED per globe, in warm white, and they are included. Replacement G9 LEDs are widely available. For dimming, use dimmable G9 LEDs with a compatible wall dimmer.
How do I clean it?
With the light off and cool, wipe the glass with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it. Dust the bronze band with a dry cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners and metal polish.
