The result is light with no visible source and no glare — a soft golden wash across the underside of the brass disc, and the marble bowl glowing faintly at its centre from the light spilling past it. Seated beneath it at a table, you see a lit surface, never a bulb.
Natural stone, three ways

Black Marble. Deep near-black stone with white veining that reads sharply against the brass. The most graphic of the three.

Where to hang it
Because the light is indirect, the Luna is an ambient fixture — excellent over a dining table, a coffee table, or in a living room, and best paired with downlights if you need bright task light on a kitchen work surface. Over a dining table, the 17.7" suits tables up to about 54 inches wide and the 13.8" suits smaller or round tables; hang the brass disc 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop. Hang it where the underside is seen — the glow on the brass is the point, and it is lost if the fixture sits too high.

Can I see the bulb from below?
No. The marble bowl sits beneath the light source and hides it entirely from view. From a seated position you see only lit brass and glowing stone.
How do I clean the marble?
Dust with a dry soft cloth only. Never use vinegar, citrus, or acidic household cleaners on marble or travertine — they etch the surface permanently. Wipe the brass dry and avoid metal polish, which will cut through the applied finish.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is an indoor fixture. Marble and travertine are porous and will stain and degrade in damp conditions.
