Tallo — a stem of bamboo, with a band of Spanish alabaster set into its heart. Three jointed sections, turned to the soft hourglass profile of a bamboo cane, hang on a fine cord. The middle section is solid alabaster: by day it reads as a slice of pale, clouded stone; lit, its veining glows from within like a lantern.
It is a pendant that does two jobs at once. The alabaster band gives a warm, glowing accent at eye level, while a small lens in the base sends a focused pool of light straight down onto the table, counter or nightstand beneath it.

A note on natural stone: alabaster is a natural material. Veining, colour and translucency vary from piece to piece, and yours will differ from the photographs. When ordering several pendants for one room, contact us if you would like them matched as closely as possible.

Is the middle section real alabaster?
Yes. It is solid Spanish alabaster — natural stone, not resin or glass. The internal veining becomes visible when the light passes through it.
How many should I hang over a kitchen island?
Because Tallo is slender, it looks best in multiples. As a guide, use three over an island up to about 6 feet long and five over a longer one, spaced roughly 12–18 inches apart. The bottom of each pendant should sit about 30–36 inches above the counter.
Do I need to buy bulbs?
No. The 9W LED is built in and included.
Can the cord length be adjusted?
Yes, the hanging height is set on the cord at installation. If you have a very tall ceiling, contact us with the drop you need before ordering.
Which finish should I choose?
Satin Nickel is the softer choice and sits well with white kitchens, marble and other silver-toned hardware. Matte Black frames the stone more sharply and suits darker cabinetry, black hardware and modern interiors.
How do I care for the alabaster?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Alabaster is a soft, porous stone, so avoid water, sprays and chemical cleaners on the stone section.
