Apex — a triangle of natural marble, with a disc of stone eclipsing a ring of light. Two pure shapes do all the work here. A solid marble disc floats on three black bolts in front of a marble triangle, and a hidden LED behind the disc throws a halo across the stone, like the moment of a solar eclipse.
The light does something a photograph of marble never can: it rakes across the surface and pulls the veining forward, so the stone seems to come alive around the disc. Switched off, Apex hangs as a piece of geometric wall art. Switched on, it becomes the most striking thing in the room.

Where it belongs
Hang one as a focal point in an entry, at the end of a hallway or above a console, where it can be seen from a distance. Use a pair to flank a bed or sofa, or set a series along a corridor or stair wall. A single Apex on a dark painted wall is about as much impact as one fixture can give.

A note on natural marble: every piece is cut from a different slab, so color, veining and pattern vary from piece to piece and will differ from the photographs. Frequently asked questions
Is it real marble?
Yes. Both the triangle and the disc are natural marble, cut from stone slabs. Nothing is printed or laminated, which is why the veining differs on every piece.
Where does the light come from?
An integrated LED is hidden behind the marble disc. Its light spreads across the face of the triangle in a soft halo, so you never see the source.
Which marble should I choose?
White is the easiest to place and suits most rooms. Indian Green works well with dark, moody schemes and natural wood. Rosso Levanto is the most dramatic and makes a strong statement in a dining room or entry.
How high should I mount it?
Place the center about 60–66 inches from the floor in an entry or hallway, or at eye level from wherever you will see it most. Beside a bed, about 50–60 inches works well. Natural stone is heavy, so fix it securely into a stud or use anchors rated for its weight.
Do I need to buy bulbs?
No. The LED is integrated and included.
How do I care for the marble?
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Marble is sensitive to acids, so avoid vinegar, citrus and chemical cleaners.
