1. Introduction

Welcome to Malane Lighting. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from our online store. By accessing or using our website and making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Product Information

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about our products, including descriptions, pricing, and availability. However, we do not guarantee that all information is error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to modify the content of our website and products at any time without prior notice.

All prices on this website are shown in US Dollars (USD $).

3. Ordering and Payment

By placing an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products at the listed prices. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or suspicion of fraudulent activity.

Payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal, Apple Pay and Klarna. All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway.

You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it ships. Once an order has shipped it can no longer be cancelled, but it may still be returned under section 5.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery within 5–7 business days. Orders are handled within 1–2 business days, with transit typically taking a further 4–5 business days. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy, which is the single source of truth for delivery timing.

Prices are exclusive of VAT, import taxes and customs duties. Where your destination country charges duty or import VAT, that charge is billed to you by the carrier or customs authority on arrival.

We are not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, carrier delays, or customs clearance. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

5. Returns and Exchanges

You may return a product within 30 days of receiving it for a refund, subject to our Return & Refund Policy. Returned products must be unused, uninstalled, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.

Damage in transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and its packaging. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of the returned item being received and inspected.

We do not process direct exchanges. Return the item for a refund and place a new order for the replacement.

6. Warranty

Our products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, unauthorised repairs, or improper installation.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use or inability to use our products or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the products giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of our website and purchase of products after any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
