Fifty-two petals of hand-blown glass, hung in five descending tiers. Each one is formed individually — a long curved blade of white opal glass with a band of color running along its edge, folded while molten so it twists slightly as it falls. They hook onto a brass frame in overlapping rings, widest at the shoulder and tapering to a single cluster at the base.
The color sits only at the rim. Look at any one petal: white through the body, deepening to coral, violet, or amber where the glass thins at the edge. Multiply that by fifty-two overlapping layers and the effect is a chandelier that reads as pale and luminous from a distance, and reveals its color only as you come close or as the light passes through the stacked edges.

Over a dining table it suits tables from about 60 inches wide, with the lowest petals 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop. It also belongs in an entry, a stairwell, or a double-height living room where it can be seen from more than one level. The supplied chain is short at 11.8 inches, so on anything but a low ceiling you will want a longer drop — contact us with your ceiling height before ordering and we will supply the chain to suit.

Is the glass hand-blown?
Yes. Each of the 52 petals is individually hand-blown and shaped, so the curve, the thickness, and the depth of the edge color vary slightly from petal to petal. That variation is what gives the assembled fixture its movement, and it means no two chandeliers are exactly alike.
Is the color painted on the glass?
No. The color is in the glass itself, concentrated at the edge of each petal where the material thins. It cannot fade, chip, or wear off, and it deepens or lightens with the thickness of the glass.
What colors are available?
Three: Coral, a soft salmon pink; Violet, a saturated pink-violet; and Amber, a warm gold. All three are white opal through the body of the petal with the color at the rim.
What bulbs does it take?
E14 small screw-base bulbs, not included. E14 is smaller than the E26 and E27 bases used in most North American fixtures — check before buying bulbs. In the United States, E12 candelabra bulbs are the closest widely stocked equivalent; contact us to confirm fit for your installation. Choose 2700K warm white; cool white drains the color from the glass.
How long is the chain, and can it be lengthened?

What does it need to hang from?

How do I clean it?
Dust the petals individually with a soft dry cloth, supporting each one as you work — they hang on hooks and will swing. Do not spray cleaner onto the fixture; if a petal needs more than dusting, dampen the cloth rather than the glass.
Will it work outside the United States?
Yes. It accepts AC 110-240 V, so it runs on either a 120 V or a 220-240 V supply.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
